1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an 11PlusQuest account or using our platform at 11plusquest.com, you ("parent", "guardian", "user") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and 11PlusQuest.

2. The Service

11PlusQuest provides an AI-powered vocabulary learning platform designed for children aged 8–14. The service includes interactive games, progress tracking, analytics, and parent-facing reports. The platform is intended to supplement — not replace — formal education.

3. Eligibility & Parental Responsibility

• Accounts must be created by a parent or guardian who is at least 18 years old.
• You are responsible for supervising your child's use of the platform.
• You must provide accurate information when registering.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

4. Free Trial

New users receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, access to paid features will be restricted unless you subscribe.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

• Monthly plan: £4.99/month, billed monthly.
• Annual plan: £47.99/year, billed once per year.
• Payments are processed securely via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• All prices include VAT where applicable.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access until then.

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. If you are unsatisfied within the first 14 days of your paid subscription, contact us at support@11plusquest.com for a full refund.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share your account with others outside your immediate household.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or reproduce any part of the platform.
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Submit false or misleading information.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on 11PlusQuest — including games, word lists, questions, designs, and branding — is the intellectual property of 11PlusQuest and protected by UK copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

11PlusQuest is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee specific educational outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, 11PlusQuest shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to carry out maintenance, updates, or modifications at any time. We will endeavour to give notice of planned downtime.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or attempt to misuse the platform. Termination does not entitle you to a refund unless required by law.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
